Head of Human Resources – Indian Ocean Operations

About the role

The Head of Human Resources for the Major Service Center (MSC) Indian Ocean Operations will lead HR activities across Mauritius and Madagascar, ensuring the Orange Promise is lived daily. You will guide a team of HR consultants, act as a strategic business partner, and drive HR initiatives that support both short‑term and long‑term business goals.

Key responsibilities

• Provide HR leadership for the Mauritius and Madagascar MSCs, translating the Orange Promise into actionable HR practices.
• Lead, manage and develop a team of HR consultants, ensuring they are resourced, trained and aligned with business needs.
• Develop and execute the annual country HR plan in collaboration with MSC leadership.
• Act as a local business partner, offering expert advice, coaching managers and handling employee relations, complaints and compliance with local laws.
• Oversee compensation and benefits programs, including health plans, retirement, leave policies and teleworking arrangements.
• Design and deliver CSR, diversity and employee engagement initiatives based on Voice UP survey results.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and work with HR Shared Services to implement solutions.
• Lead end‑to‑end recruitment to position the company as an employer of choice.

Required profile

• Proven senior HR leadership experience, preferably within a multinational environment.
• Deep knowledge of HR legislation and best practices in Mauritius and Madagascar.
• Strong ability to coach managers and influence senior stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, analytical and change‑management skills.
