Head of Restaurants – Luxury Resort

About the role

We are seeking a refined, floor‑driven Head of Restaurants to lead one to two dining outlets at a prestigious luxury resort in Mauritius. This hands‑on leader will set the benchmark for classical European service, ensuring every guest experience reflects the highest standards of elegance and hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of 1‑2 restaurants, maintaining luxury service standards.
• Lead, mentor and develop a team of six Restaurant Managers, fostering consistency and finesse.
• Spend the majority of time on the floor, engaging directly with guests and guiding staff in real time.
• Uphold and evolve classical European service protocols across all dining venues.
• Collaborate with culinary and hotel leadership to deliver a seamless guest journey.

Required profile

• Extensive background in classical, refined European restaurant service.
• Luxury hospitality experience with a strong restaurant focus.
• Proven ability to lead and develop senior restaurant managers.
• Highly floor‑oriented, comfortable with minimal office time.
• Fluent English; French is a strong advantage.
• Single‑status relocation only.
