Head of Retail

About the role

BrandHouse Ltd is seeking a dynamic Head of Retail to lead its Galaxy and Samsung brand store network across Mauritius. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will shape retail strategy, drive revenue growth and embed a culture of service excellence throughout the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Execute the retail business strategy, translating objectives into operational plans while maintaining a strong field presence.
• Drive overall revenue growth and profitability through consistent implementation of sales strategies and optimisation of store performance.
• Champion a culture of service excellence across all retail operations, ensuring consistent delivery at every customer touchpoint.
• Lead, develop and retain a high‑performing retail team through effective talent management and performance culture.
• Leverage retail analytics, inventory performance and financial data to monitor results, drive continuous improvement and profitability.
• Identify growth opportunities based on market trends, competitor activity and consumer behaviour, and execute related projects.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements and governance standards.

Required profile

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in business management, retail management, marketing or a related field.
• Extensive retail sector experience with a proven track record in sales and profitability growth.
• Ability to lead, inspire and develop a diverse, high‑performing team in a dynamic environment.
• Strong numeracy skills, comfortable working with retail data, KPIs, management accounts and budgeting.
• Deep commitment to customer‑centricity and company culture.
• Growth mindset with adaptability, resilience and sound judgement.
