Hotel Sales Executive – Corporate & Leisure Accounts

About the role

The Hotel Sales Executive drives revenue across accommodation, corporate, leisure, group and MICE segments through proactive sales activity and strategic account development. Reporting to the Commercial Leader, you will manage both corporate and leisure markets, attend trade shows, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, qualify and pursue new business opportunities aligned with hotel strategy.
• Develop and execute account plans for corporate, leisure, group and MICE clients to increase market share.
• Maintain accurate pipeline, account and opportunity records in approved sales systems.
• Prepare commercially sound proposals, quotations and rate agreements within required timeframes.
• Coordinate with Reservations, Revenue, Front Office and operational teams for smooth conversion and delivery of business.
• Support the Commercial Leader in managing third‑party distributor contracts and commission structures.
• Produce regular revenue, pick‑up and sales activity reports.
• Deliver professional sales presentations, site inspections and client meetings.
• Maintain ongoing relationships with key clients to drive repeat business and referrals.

Required profile

• Proven ability to use software applications and communication tools for market analysis and lead generation.
• Experience managing sales processes and maintaining accurate records in CRM or sales systems.
• Strong relationship‑management skills with corporate, leisure and MICE clients.

• Property Management System (PMS) usage
• Sales CRM or equivalent sales system proficiency
