HR Intern – Engagement & Diversity Support

About the role

Join DHL Global Forwarding in Port Louis as an HR Intern, supporting Engagement, Diversity, and Learning & Development initiatives. You will work under direct supervision to ensure smooth administrative processes that boost employee engagement and productivity.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day administrative support for Engagement and Diversity programs, including routine tasks for recognition and motivational initiatives.
• Assist with the implementation of diversity and inclusion actions as defined in the company’s plans.
• Maintain and consolidate data, files, and reports related to Engagement and Diversity activities.
• Support Learning & Development operations: schedule courses, book venues, keep training records, answer queries, and enter data into the HRIS.
• Prepare and distribute training announcements, track attendance, and ensure accurate record‑keeping.
• Assist internal communications by performing repetitive administrative tasks and gathering standard information for reports.

Required profile

• Entry‑level candidate with little to no prior HR experience.
• Ability to follow defined processes, guidelines, and timelines.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under close supervision.
• Good organizational skills for handling multiple routine tasks.

Required skills

• Experience with HRIS for data entry and record management.
