HR Partner – MEA

About the role

Amazon is seeking an HR Partner for the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region to act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees. You will provide expert guidance on HR policies, drive performance management, and ensure compliance with local labor laws while enhancing the overall employee experience.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with managers on performance management cases, analyze trends, and advise on corrective actions.
• Lead employee‑relations investigations, manage disciplinary and performance‑improvement programs, and coordinate with legal and ER teams.
• Interpret and adapt global HR policies to local contexts, ensuring they remain fit for purpose.
• Maintain HR compliance by tracking labor‑law requirements, preparing documentation, and managing labor inspections.
• Serve as subject‑matter expert for HR tools and processes, delivering manager education and driving data‑based improvements.
• Support change‑management initiatives to improve employee experience across the region.

Required profile

• Knowledge of local labor law and HR best practices.
• Experience managing multiple, competing priorities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, or a related field.
• Strong business acumen, problem‑solving, critical thinking, and analytical abilities.
• Excellent communication skills in English and French.
