Human Capital Manager – HR Operations & Payroll

About the role

The Human Capital Manager will lead day‑to‑day human capital operations for Medscheme Mauritius, overseeing payroll governance, employee relations, office administration and facilities management. This role is central to decision‑making and works closely with multiple teams across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily HR operations and ensure smooth workflow.
• Oversee multiple personnel, providing guidance and supervision.
• Support onboarding, training and development initiatives.
• Handle grievance and disciplinary processes.
• Administer HRIS, maintain accurate employee records, and produce regular HR reports.
• Support conflict resolution and promote employee wellbeing.
• Provide managers with advice on Mauritian labour legislation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of HR experience managing human capital operations.
• Strong leadership, organisational and analytical abilities.
• Sound knowledge of Mauritian employment and labour legislation and ISO 9001/27001 standards.
• Excellent communication and decision‑making skills.
