IFRS Technical Manager – Accounting Reporting Assurance

About the role

The Technical IFRS Manager/Senior provides expert guidance on interpreting and applying International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). The role ensures the organization’s financial reporting complies with IFRS and supports business units, finance teams, and senior management in resolving complex technical accounting issues.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret and apply IFRS standards, focusing on complex and judgmental accounting areas.
• Ensure financial reporting aligns with all relevant IFRS requirements.
• Support business units and finance teams in addressing challenging technical accounting matters.
• Collaborate with senior management to provide guidance on IFRS-related decisions.

Required profile

• Qualified ACCA, ACA, or equivalent professional certification.
• 6–8+ years of accounting or audit experience, preferably with Big 4 exposure.
• Deep technical knowledge of IFRS, especially in complex areas.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to explain complex concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle.
• Familiarity with financial reporting tools.
