Insurance Broker – General Insurance (Mauritius)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Insurance Broker specializing in general insurance to join our dynamic team in Mauritius. The role offers the chance to manage a diverse portfolio of corporate and individual clients while driving expansion into new insurance lines.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and enhance processes for an established portfolio of approximately 75 clients.
• Handle day‑to‑day operations including renewals, servicing, and client relationship management.
• Lead business development into non‑health lines such as financial lines, fire & allied perils, contractors all risks, liability, cyber, travel, and marine/cargo insurance.
• Identify and pursue upselling opportunities, contributing to 10–20% of the role’s focus.

Required profile

• Open to Mauritian and international candidates.
• Diploma or degree in Insurance or a related field.
• Professional qualifications such as CII or ANZIIF are highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of AML regulations is an advantage.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in general insurance.

Required skills

• AML compliance knowledge.
