About the role

deVere Investment Ltd, the largest private investment banking firm in Mauritius, is seeking an analytical Investment Analyst to join its advisory team. You will play a key role in delivering tailored investment solutions that meet clients' unique objectives while deepening your expertise in a dynamic financial environment.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse client investment portfolios and provide recommendations to optimise asset allocation and diversification.
• Conduct in‑depth research on market trends, industry sectors, and individual investment opportunities.
• Collaborate with colleagues to design investment strategies aligned with client goals and risk tolerance.
• Monitor global economic and financial developments to deliver timely insights.
• Build and maintain relationships with external research providers, brokers, and industry professionals.
• Maintain accurate client records and documentation in compliance with regulations.
• Engage with clients to address inquiries and provide investment‑related information.
• Work closely with compliance, operations, and other teams to uphold regulatory requirements.
• Support special projects and initiatives as directed by management.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business or a related field (post‑graduate qualification is a plus).
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in investment or financial advisory.
• Strong knowledge of financial advisory principles and investment strategies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to translate complex information into clear, actionable insights.
• Detail‑oriented with strong organisational and time‑management abilities.
