IT Business Analyst - Financial Systems

About the role

Accenture is seeking an IT Business Analyst focused on financial systems. You will work with banking‑sector clients and development teams to translate financial needs into functional IT solutions, ensuring applications are well‑designed, tested and aligned with business requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Gather, analyse and formalise business and functional requirements for financial systems.
• Translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories and process flows.
• Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and IT/development teams.
• Participate in functional design, application configuration and system optimisation.
• Support and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Provide functional support on financial applications and tools.
• Prepare documentation and train key users on system usage.
• Contribute to project delivery and IT implementation activities.

Required profile

• Degree in IT, Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, Banking, ACCA or related field.
• 2–7 years experience as an IT Business Analyst supporting financial or accounting systems, or strong accounting experience with a desire to move into IT/FinTech.
• Strong understanding of financial processes, workflows, controls, data and integrations from a systems perspective.
• Fluent in French and English (written and spoken).
