About the role
The Junior Corporate Secretarial Officer will support the delivery of administrative and governance services for a range of client structures, including funds, private clients, corporate services, trusts and foundations. Working under senior guidance, you will help prepare board materials, take minutes and coordinate meeting logistics while developing a solid foundation in corporate governance.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in organising and coordinating board and committee meetings for various client entities.
- Prepare and distribute board packs, agendas and related documentation.
- Take meeting notes and draft accurate minutes under supervision.
- Coordinate logistics such as scheduling, venue booking and virtual/hybrid set‑ups.
- Learn to use board management software and compliance tools to track deliverables.
- Maintain statutory registers and meeting records in line with regulatory requirements.
- Support senior team members in monitoring service level agreements.
- Record time accurately in the company’s time‑keeping system.
- Assist with internal reporting and contribute to team financial targets.
- Collaborate with internal departments to meet client expectations and uphold confidentiality.
Required profile
- Up to 1–2 years of experience in a company secretarial, legal or governance‑related role.
- Strong attention to detail and good organisational abilities.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Required skills
- Familiarity with board management software.
- Experience using compliance tracking tools.
