Kids Club Entertainer

About the role

RIU Hotels & Resorts is looking for a friendly, energetic, creative and responsible Kids Club Entertainer for its resort in Le Morne, Mauritius. The role provides engaging, safe and memorable experiences for children staying at the resort, planning and leading age-appropriate activities in a welcoming environment.

Key responsibilities

• Organize and lead fun, educational and age-appropriate games, arts and crafts, sports, music and recreational activities for children.
• Welcome children and families warmly, build positive relationships and provide attentive, professional service.
• Supervise children at all times, follow safety and security procedures and keep the activity area clean and organized.
• Prepare daily activity schedules and adapt programs to age groups, interests, abilities and weather.
• Take part in resort entertainment programs, themed events, family activities and special celebrations.
• Work with the Entertainment Department and other resort teams, and communicate clearly with parents, guardians and colleagues.
• Use activity materials responsibly, report damaged equipment and keep supplies available and stored properly.

Required profile

• Previous experience with children, in kids clubs, childcare, hospitality, recreation, education or entertainment is preferred.
• Energetic, creative, patient, responsible and approachable, able to work with children and families.
• Strong understanding of child supervision, health, safety and hygiene.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to deal positively with children, parents and international guests.
• Fluent English, written and spoken; additional languages are an advantage.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, evenings and peak periods.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
