About the role
Constance Sakoa Boutik, a boutique hotel in the northern region of Mauritius facing Trou aux Biches, is hiring a Kitchen Commis through its partner Hosco. You will work under the guidance of experienced chefs, supporting the preparation and cooking of high-quality dishes while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hygiene.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain a clean and organised workstation, following food safety, hygiene regulations and allergen protocols
- Operate and maintain kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, supporting the kitchen team during service
- Monitor food storage, manage inventory and ensure proper rotation and storage of ingredients
- Work collaboratively with team members to keep the workflow smooth and improve overall kitchen efficiency
Required profile
- Minimum NC 3 in Food Production or any relevant qualification
- At least 1 year of experience in the same position
- Detail-oriented and a team player
