L2 M365 Engineer – Messaging & Collaboration

About the role

Amaris Consulting is seeking an experienced Level‑2 Microsoft 365 Engineer to support messaging and collaboration services for a large international client base. You will act as the escalation point for L1 teams, resolve complex incidents, and assist with migrations while ensuring smooth operation of Exchange Online, SharePoint Online and OneDrive for Business.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and support Exchange Online, SharePoint Online and OneDrive for Business.
• Manage mailboxes, mail flow rules, connectors, anti‑spam settings and perform message trace diagnostics.
• Configure SharePoint site permissions, external sharing, hub sites and governance policies.
• Maintain OneDrive sync policies, known folder move and storage quotas.
• Assist data migrations using ShareGate or the SharePoint Migration Tool (SPMT).
• Handle user and license management in Microsoft 365 Admin Centre and Entra ID.
• Process incidents and tickets via ServiceNow.
• Develop PowerShell scripts for routine M365 administration.
• Create and maintain documentation and knowledge‑base articles for L1 support.

Required profile

• Fluent professional communication in English and French.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical users.
• Structured problem‑solving approach with strong documentation discipline.
• Collaborative mindset when working with L3 teams and external vendors.
• Reliability for 24x5 shift coverage and on‑call weekend support.
