Learning & Development Manager

About the role

As the Learning & Development Manager at Shangri‑La Le Touessrok, you will lead the design, delivery and evaluation of training programmes that support service excellence and leadership growth across the resort. This full‑time, on‑site role offers the chance to shape a culture of continuous learning within a world‑class luxury hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a resort‑wide Learning & Development strategy aligned with brand standards.
• Identify training needs through audits, performance reviews and operational feedback.
• Conduct Training Needs Analyses before launching any programme.
• Design and deliver training focused on service excellence, leadership and operational standards.
• Manage onboarding and orientation for all new hires.
• Plan and execute the annual training calendar.
• Facilitate internal coaching, workshops, on‑the‑job training and role‑plays.
• Collaborate with internal and external providers to deliver tailored learning solutions.
• Monitor training effectiveness using assessments and performance indicators.
• Ensure completion of mandatory compliance, safety and regulatory training.
• Maintain accurate training records and attendance logs.
• Oversee e‑learning modules and learning pathways via the internal platform.
• Identify performance gaps and implement targeted interventions.
• Define departmental KPIs to measure learning impact.
• Coordinate succession planning, YEP initiatives and employee development programmes.
• Manage internship and development programmes in partnership with operational departments.

Required profile

• Proficiency in Training, Training & Development, and delivering engaging learning experiences.
