Legal Officer

About the role

We are looking for a Legal Officer to join Mercator® by Citco’s Global Entity Portfolio Management team. In this role you will support multinational corporate clients with corporate subsidiary governance, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations throughout the company lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review legal documents for incorporation, restructuring, and dissolution of entities worldwide.
• Monitor and file statutory requirements with local authorities.
• Coordinate with clients, business partners and internal teams to gather necessary information and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with client, local, international and industry‑specific legal requirements and communicate updates.
• Maintain accurate data, reporting and documentation.
• Participate in transfer activities and facilitate smooth transitions from external providers.
• Contribute to global projects aimed at improving service efficiency.

Required profile

• Qualified Company Secretary or a degree in Law.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in corporate secretarial practice.
• Experience providing corporate services to international clients.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Proactive, detail‑oriented team player with strong communication skills.
