Maintenance & Facility Manager – Resort Operations

About the role

The Maintenance & Facility Manager will lead the upkeep and safe operation of our resort in Rivière Noire. Based on‑site full‑time, you will ensure that all building, mechanical, electrical, pool and landscaping systems run smoothly while minimizing any impact on guests.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance for buildings, mechanical, electrical, plumbing and pool infrastructure.
• Monitor facility conditions, respond to urgent repair requests and optimise energy and resource use.
• Manage facility budgets, track expenses and prepare maintenance reports.
• Coordinate with external contractors and suppliers, negotiate service agreements and ensure work quality.
• Maintain compliance with health, safety, local building codes and environmental regulations.
• Collaborate with resort operations, housekeeping and front‑office teams to support seamless guest experiences.

Required profile

• Proven experience in facilities or maintenance management within hotels, resorts or similar hospitality environments.
• Technical qualification or diploma in facilities management, engineering or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of local building codes, safety and environmental regulations.
• Excellent English communication; French or other local languages are a plus.
• Ability to lead a maintenance team, prioritize tasks and work flexibly on‑site.
