Manning Audit Coordinator – Internal & External Audits

About the role

The Manning Audit Coordinator will lead and support the internal and external manning audit programme for a global maritime services provider. You will ensure audits are planned, executed, and reported effectively while driving continuous improvement across crew management processes.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee the internal and external manning audit programme, including planning, execution, follow‑up and reporting.
• Support audit activities performed by designated MLC Auditors and liaise with external manning agencies.
• Track audit findings (non‑conformities, observations, recommendations) and ensure timely escalation of corrective and preventive actions.
• Investigate root causes of actions not closed and provide visibility on audit status, trends, risks and improvement areas.
• Consolidate audit results, prepare stakeholder reports and recommend improvements based on satisfaction feedback.
• Maintain consistency and quality in audit coordination, reporting and tracking.
• Assist with market analysis, audit capability building, and the development of audit tools, templates and processes.
• Participate in audits alongside qualified auditors as part of professional development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in manning operations, audit risk/compliance or quality functions.
• Experience with audit or compliance processes is an advantage.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to work with large data volumes.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Capability to lead audit engagements and influence discussions constructively.
