Marathi Quality Assurance Lead (QAL)

About the role

We are looking for a Marathi Quality Assurance Lead (QAL) to oversee quality, consistency, and trainer performance across Marathi AI training projects. This hourly, remote contractor position will involve reviewing AI‑generated Marathi content, evaluating trainer and QA work, and ensuring adherence to project guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Spot‑check Marathi items, identify quality issues, and provide feedback through direct messages.
• Update trainers and QAs on Discord about new guidelines, project changes, workflow updates, and quality expectations.
• Answer trainer/QA questions about Marathi wording, cultural context, translation fidelity, and edge cases.
• Activate and follow up with inactive contributors, tracking availability and encouraging consistent work.
• Create and maintain project documentation such as style guides, trackers, FAQs, quality notes, examples, and onboarding materials.
• Schedule and conduct onboarding/training calls to explain expectations, rubrics, and Marathi‑specific style requirements.
• Ensure consistent application of Marathi language guidelines and identify recurring quality issues for process improvement.

Required profile

• Fluent in Marathi and English with excellent attention to detail.
• Strong written communication skills and ability to manage quality workflows across remote teams.
• Experience reviewing language content and providing precise, actionable feedback.
