PO Follow Up Specialist

About the role

The PO Follow Up Specialist acts as the critical link between country buyers, suppliers, and the Accounts Payable team. You will ensure accurate receipt, recording, and tracking of sales order confirmations, while keeping stakeholders informed of any changes.

Key responsibilities

• Execute the PO follow‑up confirmation process from order receipt to final delivery.
• Analyse supplier portal and tracking reports to assess PO status and identify past‑due deliveries.
• Contact suppliers to obtain up‑to‑date PO information and update tracking reports.
• Monitor the goods receipt process, raise Goods Received Notes, and resolve invoice or GRN discrepancies.
• Coordinate with buyers, PO creation specialists, and suppliers to manage partial deliveries.
• Handle Accounts Payable queries related to purchase orders.
• Resolve ticket issues using ServiceNow (SNOW) and PACT systems.
• Set up routine communications with internal and external stakeholders and escalate issues to the RPSS Operations Manager when needed.

Required profile

• Undergraduate degree in management, procurement, commercial or a related field.
• 2‑3 years of experience in FMCG procurement or supply‑chain operations.
• Strong analytical abilities and business‑impact focused thinking.
• Excellent communication and collaborative skills.
• Self‑starter who can prioritize workload effectively.
