PO Follow-up Specialist

About the role

The PO Follow‑up Specialist ensures smooth coordination between buyers, suppliers, and the Accounts Payable team. You will manage purchase order confirmations, monitor delivery performance, and resolve discrepancies to support accurate procurement processes.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse Supplier Portal and Tracking Reports to assess PO status and identify past‑due deliveries.
• Contact suppliers to obtain up‑to‑date PO information and update tracking reports.
• Monitor goods receipt, address AP queries, and coordinate with buyers and PO Creation Specialists for partial and final deliveries.
• Resolve delivery, invoicing, and GRN discrepancies to ensure timely procurement.
• Handle ticket issues, provide solutions to the Helpdesk, and escalate complex matters to the PO Management Lead.

Required profile

• Undergraduate degree in management, procurement, commercial studies or a related field.
• Strong analytical and communication abilities.
• Ability to build collaborative working relationships across functions.

Required skills

• Proficiency with sourcing tools such as SAP.
• Experience using Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) systems.
