Project Coordinator (Mechanical Engineering)

About the role

We are seeking a Project Coordinator to manage day‑to‑day activities for mechanical engineering projects on our Outer Island site in Mauritius. The role bridges engineering, procurement and construction teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily project activities on‑site and maintain up‑to‑date schedules.
• Prepare and circulate progress reports for internal teams and clients.
• Liaise with engineering, procurement and construction teams to align tasks.
• Review, update and manage AutoCAD drawings as required.
• Monitor project milestones, identify delays and drive corrective actions.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation and submit regular status updates.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards and safety regulations.

Required profile

• B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in project coordination or site management.
• Strong communication and reporting abilities.
• Proven ability to work with site teams, contractors and clients.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
