Public Area Attendant

About the role

We are looking for a Public Area Attendant to join the Four Seasons resort team in Mauritius. The role involves maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of all public spaces, ensuring guests and staff experience a pristine environment throughout their stay.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and service guest areas, offices and staff common areas on a daily basis.
• Support the supervisor in executing operational requirements and day‑to‑day processes.
• Assist with training of new team members and uphold high standards of hygiene and grooming.
• Participate in briefings, meetings and provide operational feedback to management.
• Maintain a clean, orderly work area and promote a safe working environment.
• Perform any related duties as required, especially during peak periods.

Required profile

• Demonstrates a high degree of standards awareness and acts as a role model.
• Promotes teamwork and offers assistance to colleagues during busy times.
• Displays warmth, care and genuine enthusiasm when interacting with guests and internal customers.
• Adheres to the hotel’s code of conduct, grooming and hygiene standards.
• Works hands‑on, attends all scheduled training sessions and actively participates in briefings.
