Quality & Learning Coordinator

About the role

The Quality & Learning Coordinator ensures that hotel standards, employee grooming, learning, and recruitment are aligned with Holiday Inn, IHG, and Valor Hospitality expectations. Working closely with department heads, the role drives continuous improvement and supports staff development.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor employee grooming, uniforms, and professional conduct; conduct regular quality checks across all departments.
• Identify service gaps, review guest feedback, and implement corrective actions to enhance guest experience.
• Coordinate the annual training plan, onboarding programmes, mandatory health and safety training, and IHG/Valor learning modules.
• Maintain accurate training records, evaluate effectiveness, and recommend refresher sessions.
• Lead recruitment activities: post ads, screen CVs, conduct initial interviews, liaise with agencies and schools, and manage internship programmes.
• Support employee development through individual plans, coaching, probation reviews, and performance improvement initiatives.
• Assist the People & Culture Lead with HR projects, audits, reporting, and internal communications.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Human Resources, Hospitality Management, Learning & Development, Quality Management or related field.
• 2–3 years of relevant hospitality experience, preferably in a hotel or resort environment.
• Experience in training coordination, quality assurance, guest experience, recruitment or employee development.
• Familiarity with international hotel brand standards and quality assurance processes is an advantage.
