Risk Management Associate (FY27)

About the role

EY Mauritius is hiring a Risk Management Associate for its Risk Management practice (FY27). The associate learns the necessary skills and EY policies and procedures to become an effective Risk Management Consultant, working alongside an assigned Risk Management Consultant on risk management programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Africa Risk Director and the Africa Risk Senior Manager with ad hoc risk management activities
• Support the broader Africa Region Risk Management team when called upon
• Help prepare risk management reporting for leadership forums, presentations and regular Risk Committee meetings
• Support the implementation and execution of the Africa Region Enterprise Risk Management Framework
• Support the implementation and execution of the Risk Management Compliance Framework

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Commerce, Risk Management, Accounting, Business Management or a related field
• Prior risk management or other relevant experience is an advantage but not required
• Confident, proactive and responsible, motivated and energetic, willing to learn
• Good interpersonal and organisational skills, excellent written and verbal communication
• Self-starter who works well with little supervision and can meet strict deadlines under pressure
