RTR & IC Accountant

About the role

The RTR & IC Accountant will join DHL Global Forwarding in Port Louis, supporting the company’s record‑to‑report (RTR) and intercompany (IC) accounting processes. You will ensure compliance with global and local accounting standards while delivering accurate month‑end and year‑end close activities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and process journals, handling all day‑to‑day RTR and intercompany tasks.
• Execute month‑end and year‑end closing activities in line with DHL guidelines, IFRS and local GAAP.
• Manage balance‑sheet reconciliations, identify high‑risk accounts and escalate issues promptly.
• Conduct regular balance‑sheet reviews with entities and follow up on action items.
• Reconcile intercompany partners, settle outstanding payables and chase receivables.
• Handle disputes, raise IRCNs when required, and support in‑house bank and MEC reconciliations.
• Maintain internal controls, ensure audit readiness and close identified gaps within agreed timelines.
