SAP Consultant / Coordinator

About the role

The SAP Coordinator ensures smooth operation of SAP systems by bridging business users, IT teams and external providers. The role focuses on incident handling, change management and continuous improvement of SAP processes within a medical‑device environment.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary link between business units, IT and vendors for all SAP‑related requests.
• Centralise, prioritise and monitor incidents, enhancements and project requests using ticketing tools.
• Coordinate resolution of incidents, enforce SLA compliance and escalate critical issues.
• Gather user improvement requests, manage change requests and follow up on production releases.
• Promote proper use of SAP modules (FI, CO, MM, SD) and propose process optimisations.
• Provide user support, organise training sessions and maintain up‑to‑date documentation.
• Produce regular activity reports, track performance indicators and participate in steering committees.

Required profile

• Good understanding of business processes and basic knowledge of incident management (ITIL is a plus).
• Ability to analyse user needs and translate them into SAP solutions.
• Strong documentation and reporting skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, team spirit and clear communication.
• Proactive mindset with focus on change management and continuous improvement.
