Senior Associate – Client Onboarding

About the role

The Senior Associate – Client Onboarding will act as the primary client contact throughout the onboarding journey, ensuring a smooth transition from sales to business‑as‑usual. This client‑facing position involves coordinating with multiple internal teams to deliver a seamless onboarding experience.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the main point of contact for clients during onboarding, handling issues and providing regular status updates.
• Coordinate client adoptions, account openings, fund documentation reviews, legal agreements, and internal system setups.
• Manage project plans, hold weekly stakeholder calls, and track progress across Service Delivery, Sales, Legal, Compliance, and Technology teams.
• Assist in drafting and reviewing client service agreements and manage template control with the Legal department.
• Provide day‑to‑day onboarding advice across all Apex Group business lines and support the wider onboarding team as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree (or equivalent).
• 3‑5 years of experience in the investment funds industry.
• Good knowledge of fund structures, domiciles and regulatory requirements.
• Strong project‑management abilities and ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Self‑motivated, client‑service mindset with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Understanding of fund structuring, legal terminology and service agreements.
• Knowledge of client KYC and legal contract management (advantageous).
• Professional level of English (spoken and written); additional languages are a plus.
