Senior Compliance Administrator

About the role

The Senior Compliance Administrator will support Apex Group’s Compliance function in Ebene, Mauritius, ensuring adherence to AML/CFT policies and delivering high‑quality compliance reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to company and group AML/CFT policies.
• Conduct file reviews, including Customer Due Diligence and complex structures.
• Design, review and update formats of compliance reports.
• Compile findings for inclusion in Compliance KPI dashboards.
• Draft guidance notes on flagged screening reports.
• Assist ongoing monitoring as per the Compliance Calendar and testing program.
• Review and propose enhancements to compliance procedures.
• Update the AML/CFT and Compliance Manual.
• Address AML and compliance queries from other business units.
• Support senior staff in responding to queries from authorities.
• Liaise with client and group services as well as local authorities.
• Provide regular reports and feedback.
• Reply to queries within agreed timeframes and deadlines.
• Collaborate with team members and support colleagues.
• Take on ad‑hoc assignments and complete them within agreed timeframes.

Required profile

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Law or a recognized professional qualification.
• 2‑3 years of relevant work experience.
• Good technical knowledge of applicable laws and regulations for a global business.
• Well‑developed, up‑to‑date knowledge of AML/CFT issues.
• Ability to work under pressure and deliver within agreed timelines.
