Senior Finance Accountant

About the role

Ocorian's Global Accounting team is looking for a Senior Finance Accountant to support finance operations across a growing number of international jurisdictions. The role covers financial reporting, statutory accounting, tax and treasury activities, and involves partnering with finance colleagues and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality financial information and insights. It also offers the chance to develop leadership and coaching capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Own accounting and financial reporting activities for designated jurisdictions
• Prepare and review management accounts, financial reporting packs and business reviews
• Support month-end and year-end reporting
• Review journal entries, reconciliations and accounting records across multiple entities
• Prepare and review statutory financial statements, tax returns and regulatory filings
• Partner with auditors, regulators and internal stakeholders on audit and reporting
• Support treasury activities such as cash flow reporting, payments and financial analysis
• Contribute to group reporting, consolidation and process improvement initiatives
• Provide technical accounting guidance and coach Finance Accountants and junior colleagues

Required profile

• Part-qualified ACCA, ACA or equivalent professional accounting qualification
• Experience in finance, accounting, financial reporting or a related professional services environment
• Experience preparing management accounts, statutory statements and multi-entity reporting
• Experience working with auditors and stakeholders on reporting and compliance

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of IFRS, tax and VAT principles
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret financial information
• Experience using systems and technology to improve finance operations
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
