Senior HR Coordinator

About the role

We are seeking a Senior HR Coordinator to lead day‑to‑day human resources operations for Mont Choisy Le Golf and its associated facilities, including the golf course, stables and the Leisure & Wellness Centre. Reporting to the General Manager and the Group HR Executive, you will act as the primary HR contact for managers and staff while ensuring compliance with Mauritian labour legislation and internal policies.

Key responsibilities

• Run the monthly payroll cycle for all business locations and maintain accurate employee records on SharePoint, HRIS platforms and physical files.
• Administer employee benefits, manage leave, and produce monthly leave reports.
• Lead recruitment for managerial, supervisory and specialist roles; supervise non‑managerial hiring and onboarding processes.
• Coordinate expatriate recruitment, occupation permits and renewals.
• Oversee the annual performance appraisal cycle, training needs analysis and delivery of training sessions.
• Plan and execute employee welfare and engagement activities, handle grievances and lead disciplinary procedures.
• Draft, update and implement HR policies, SOPs and ensure data protection compliance.
• Provide input for the annual HR budget and support ad‑hoc assignments from senior management.

Required profile

• Degree in Human Resources Management, Management or a related field.
• Proven experience in full‑cycle HR operations, preferably in a multi‑site environment.
• Strong knowledge of Mauritian labour legislation and HR best practices.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with managers and staff.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise and develop junior HR staff.
