Senior Officer - Credit Control

About the role

IQ-EQ, a global investor services group supporting investment managers, asset owners and businesses with administration, compliance, governance, data and reporting, is looking for a proactive credit control professional. As a Senior Officer in its Credit Control team, you will manage receivables across an international portfolio, partner with operational teams and stakeholders to ensure timely collections, resolve account queries and keep financial records accurate.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day credit control activities, including accurate debtor records, ageing reports and reconciliation of credit management data
• Engage with clients through payment reminders, email and phone follow-ups to reduce overdue balances
• Investigate and resolve payment queries and account discrepancies with internal stakeholders and clients
• Work with operational teams and banking partners on payment processing, statements of account and collections performance
• Contribute to process optimisation and automation, share knowledge with junior team members and support continuous improvement

Required profile

• Strong experience in credit control, accounts receivable or a similar finance function, with a good understanding of credit management principles
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, confident engaging clients at all levels
• Highly organised, detail-oriented, able to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Proactive, commercially minded and focused on strong collection and customer service outcomes

Required skills

• Advanced Excel skills
• Comfortable analysing financial data, reconciling accounts and identifying trends or issues
