Services Technical Consultant – Data Conversion

About the role

The Data Conversion Consultant will support the migration of HR and payroll data from legacy systems to Dayforce’s cloud HCM platform. Working closely with implementation consultants, you will act as the primary point of contact for data‑related queries throughout each project.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with implementation teams to understand client system configurations and customizations.
• Extract, analyse, map and transform employee data according to Dayforce import specifications.
• Validate transformed data for accuracy and compliance with mapping requirements.
• Provide detailed answers to internal consultants and customers regarding Dayforce products and data conversion tools.
• Support pre‑sales activities by reviewing client legacy setups and supplying relevant information to the sales team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with Dayforce or other HCM/Payroll solutions.
• Strong collaboration, written and verbal communication, and time‑management abilities.
• Analytical mindset with proven problem‑solving skills.

Required skills

• Understanding of relational databases.
• Proficiency in SQL (preferred).
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (preferred).
• Familiarity with HPL, Insync, Payflex, Powerpay, and Core Systems is a plus.
