Software Engineer - Agentic AI

About the role

Fintrellis Limited is seeking a Software Engineer - Agentic AI to help build modern software applications and AI-powered solutions. The role combines full-stack software engineering with the design and integration of intelligent automation systems. It welcomes junior to mid-level engineers, full-stack developers and developers with strong backend foundations; previous Agentic AI experience is an advantage but not mandatory.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain secure, scalable web applications and services.
• Develop and integrate REST APIs, databases and frontend applications, including React-based interfaces.
• Write clean, efficient and maintainable code following established engineering standards.
• Take part in code reviews, testing, debugging and software deployment.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on system architecture, integration and application performance.
• Design and develop AI-powered applications and intelligent automation solutions.
• Build and integrate AI agents that perform structured tasks and interact with business systems.
• Work with Large Language Models (LLMs), APIs and AI orchestration frameworks, and explore agentic workflows, tool integration and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).
• Evaluate AI solutions for reliability, accuracy, security and practical business value.

Required profile

• Proficiency in at least one programming language, preferably Python, Rust, Node.js/TypeScript or a comparable technology.
• Understanding of full-stack development, REST APIs, databases and application integration.
• Knowledge of software development principles, version control (Git), testing and debugging.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Interest in Agentic AI, LLM-powered applications and intelligent automation.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a structured engineering environment.

Required skills

• Frontend familiarity with React.
• Desirable: practical experience building AI agents or LLM-powered applications.
• Desirable: familiarity with LangChain, LangGraph or similar AI orchestration frameworks.
• Desirable: knowledge of vector databases, embeddings and RAG architectures.
• Desirable: experience with Docker, CI/CD, cloud infrastructure or deployment workflows.
• Desirable: exposure to fintech, blockchain or financial technology applications.
