Software Engineer (AI Agentic Solutions) - Finance Transformation

About the role

EY's Finance Transformation practice, a fast-growing sub-service line of its Assurance service line, is looking for a hands-on developer to design and build AI-powered solutions and autonomous agents end to end. The role focuses on integrating large language models (LLMs) into production systems such as APIs, data pipelines and agentic workflows, and expects developers to use modern AI coding tools as a force multiplier.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy applications and microservices in Golang and Python that leverage AI/ML capabilities
• Architect and build AI agents with multi-step reasoning, tool/function calling, memory, planning and orchestration, using frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI or custom agentic loops
• Integrate LLM APIs (Anthropic, OpenAI, etc.), RAG pipelines, prompt engineering and vector database integrations (pgvector, Pinecone, FAISS)
• Use AI-assisted tools (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor) for rapid prototyping, refactoring, test generation and agent-driven coding
• Develop high-performance backend services and APIs (Gin/Echo/gRPC in Go; FastAPI in Python)
• Write clean, testable production-grade code with Git and CI/CD, and collaborate with cross-functional teams

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or another related field, or any STEM degree
• About 3-6 years of experience in a related field is an advantage
• Ideal candidate: strong hands-on Golang and Python (3+ years), deep practical understanding of AI agents (ReAct, plan-and-execute, tool calling, MCP, context/memory management, agent evaluation), and solid AI/ML fundamentals
• Experience with AI coding tools beyond simple autocomplete, and familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), Docker and Kubernetes basics
• Good to have: multi-agent orchestration, MLOps or model fine-tuning exposure, AI security awareness, open-source contributions
