Software Engineer

About the role

CDL Knits Ltd, a fully integrated knitting, dyeing and finishing mill, is seeking a Software Engineer to join its dynamic IT team. You will work on internal, custom‑built ERP applications, ensuring they run smoothly and evolve with business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Oracle‑based applications using PL/SQL and related Oracle technologies.
• Participate in code reviews and help define coding standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in internal ERP systems.
• Design, execute, and document test plans and test cases for software releases.
• Collaborate with developers and business owners to deliver solutions on schedule.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of new software features and functionality.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Software Developer, Software Engineer or similar role.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and independent as well as team‑oriented work style.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Required skills

• Oracle development tools and Oracle APEX.
• SQL and PL/SQL.
• HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
