Software QA Engineer

About the role

The Software QA Engineer will work under the QA Lead to ensure that software releases are stable, meet client expectations, and are cost‑effective. You will review system requirements, design test plans, and help debug issues throughout the development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents and provide timely feedback.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to clarify system requirements.
• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well‑structured test plans and test cases.
• Design, develop, and execute automation scripts where applicable.
• Identify, record, document, and track bugs; perform regression testing after fixes.
• Monitor bug‑fix processes and ensure successful corrections.
• Track QA metrics such as test execution progress, defect density, and open defect counts.
• Stay up to date with new testing tools and strategies.

Required profile

• Desirable Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering or related field.
• 0‑2 years of experience in software quality assurance.
• Full professional proficiency in English.
