Spa Therapist (Massage Therapist)

About the role

Constance Belle Mare Plage, a resort in Mauritius, is looking for a Spa Therapist (massage therapist) to take full responsibility for the treatment and deliver a memorable, personalised experience for every guest. The role combines hands-on therapy with service, sales and administrative duties within the spa.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver treatments according to the spa menu, standards and protocols, and confirm scheduled treatments with guests before starting.
• Promote marketing activities set by the Spa Manager, sell beauty products and accessories, and meet retail targets.
• Record treatment details for each client, take responsibility for payments, stock control accounting and cashing up.
• Ensure treatment rooms are set up correctly, products are stocked and refilled, and serve post-treatment drinks.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness and safety, and log accidents, incidents and near misses.
• Follow SOPs, attend training and meetings, and comply with the company's code of conduct, timekeeping and attendance policies.
• Work as part of a diverse team and take care of clients from arrival to departure while respecting their privacy.

Required profile

• High level of social skills, reliability and punctuality, with a good standard of presentation.
• Attentive, anticipatory service attitude and ability to handle guest complaints professionally.
• Ability to work in a diverse team and to take responsibility for customer service.
