Talent Development Officer

About the role

The Talent Development Officer will coordinate generic training programmes across all departments of Constance Belle Mare Plage, a luxury resort in Mauritius. The role supports department heads in enhancing employee performance while aligning with the Constance Hotels Group’s standards and ambitions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain the monthly generic training calendar and monitor departmental training schedules.
• Develop and implement departmental training systems and ensure effective operation of internal trainers.
• Prepare the annual training plan within budget, track its execution, and report progress to the Talent Development Manager.
• Coordinate external training activities with suppliers and the Constance Hospitality Training Center.
• Maintain accurate training records, produce monthly reports, and update the training platform.
• Assist department trainers in session preparation, objective achievement, and monthly reviews.
• Conduct new‑team member orientations and evaluate on‑the‑job training.
• Support regional employee development initiatives and corporate quality concepts.

Required profile

• Undergraduate degree; additional training or certificates in a relevant field are a plus.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in the hotel industry, preferably in a luxury resort.
