Talent & Culture Manager

About the role

The Talent & Culture Manager will lead talent management, organisational development and succession planning for the APTIS Group. The role also oversees the delivery of culture, employee experience and wellbeing programmes, while building the capability of the L&D function.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement a group‑wide talent management framework, including performance‑linked reviews and succession planning for critical roles.
• Lead organisational development initiatives such as structure design, capability building and change management in partnership with business unit leaders.
• Own the operational delivery of culture and employee experience agendas, including surveys, initiatives and communications.
• Drive group‑wide wellbeing programmes and monitor related metrics.
• Manage and develop the L&D Specialist to ensure learning and leadership programmes align with talent and OD priorities.
• Partner with business‑unit HR teams to identify talent gaps, high‑potential employees and development needs.

Required profile

• Degree in Human Resources, Organisational Development, Psychology or a related field.
• Minimum 6‑8 years of experience in HR, talent management or organisational development, with some people‑management exposure.
• Strong knowledge of HR policies, practices and Mauritius labour legislation.
• Project‑management skills and experience in talent management and learning & development.
• Excellent stakeholder‑management, influencing and communication abilities.
• Ability to work autonomously, think analytically and maintain discretion and confidentiality.
