About the role
Join our dynamic team in Port Louis as a Trust Accountant, contributing to the financial well‑being of our corporate and trust clients. This full‑time position involves maintaining accurate accounting records and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain accounting records for a portfolio of corporate entities and trusts, including day‑to‑day bookkeeping, journal entries, invoices, payments and receipts.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations, prepare management accounts and annual financial statements, and handle statutory filings with MRA, FSC, ROC and other bodies.
Required profile
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance or related field; professional certifications such as ACCA or ACA are advantageous.
- Strong ethical standards, discretion with confidential information, and good written and verbal communication skills.
Required skills
- Proficiency in accounting software.
- Advanced MS Excel skills.
