Waiter - Luxury Resort Dining

About the role

Constance Prince Maurice, a luxury resort on the northeast coast of Mauritius, is hiring a Waiter through its partner Hosco in Roches Noires. The role centres on delivering excellent customer service by taking orders, serving food and beverages and making sure guests enjoy their dining experience.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests promptly and courteously.
• Present menus, answer questions about menu items and give recommendations.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and pass them to the kitchen and bar staff.
• Serve food and drinks promptly and check in with guests during meals to address their needs.
• Clear and reset tables efficiently.
• Handle cash and process payments correctly.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the dining area.
• Follow health and safety standards, including hygiene and food handling procedures.

Required profile

• NC3 certification in Restaurants and Bar, or another relevant qualification.
• At least 2 years of experience as a Waiter or in a similar role.
• Fluent written and spoken English and French.
• Professional appearance and good personal presentation.
• Energetic, with a strong team spirit and a proactive attitude.
