About the role
The hotel seeks a motivated Waiter/Waitress to join its restaurant team on the south‑eastern coast of Mauritius. You will work in a luxury resort environment, delivering high‑standard service to guests while maintaining a clean and welcoming dining area.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain a clean mise en place and service stations.
- Carry food and beverages from kitchen/bar to guests professionally.
- Serve guests according to established standards and procedures.
- Collect and dispatch soiled dishes to the dish‑washing area.
- Assist the Chef de Rang and hostess with table set‑up and guest seating.
- Maintain cleanliness of the outlet, service stations and back‑area.
- Handle silverware polishing requests and other duties assigned by superiors.
Required profile
- Middle or secondary education with relevant training or certificates.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a hotel or luxury resort setting.
- Fluency in English (additional language a plus).
Required skills
- Hands‑on experience with cash register operations.
- Familiarity with ordering information systems.
