Warehouse Coordinator

About the role

Service De Déménagement International (SDI), a Mauritius-based relocation and logistics company founded in 2000, is hiring a full-time, on-site Warehouse Coordinator in Port Louis. The role coordinates daily warehouse operations, including incoming and outgoing shipments, loading and unloading, and accurate documentation, while monitoring inventory and maintaining stock records. It also covers safety procedures, storage optimisation and quality control of stored goods.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, inspect and properly store incoming goods and materials
• Maintain accurate records of all stock received and issued
• Monitor inventory levels and carry out regular stock counts
• Ensure proper organisation, labelling and storage of materials
• Keep the store/warehouse clean, organised and safe
• Record and document all stock movements accurately
• Prepare and present stock reports to management when required

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Storekeeper, Warehouse Assistant or in a similar position
• Reliable, organised, motivated and detail-oriented
• Ability to multitask, manage priorities and work both independently and as part of a team

Required skills

• Experience operating a reach truck and forklift (an advantage)
• Good organisational and time-management skills
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of inventory/stock management systems
• Ability to maintain accurate records and give clear reports to management
