Application Developer (Python & OpenAI)

About the role

Dayforce is looking for an Application Developer with strong Python and OpenAI expertise to join its Advanced Solutions team. You will help create AI‑driven tools, especially chatbots, that improve support processes and deliver value to customers worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design, prototype, and develop AI‑powered solutions using Python and OpenAI, focusing on chatbot functionality.
• Own the full software lifecycle: analysis, design, development, testing, and support.
• Collaborate with clients, prospects, implementation partners, and internal teams to define and deliver required features.
• Create and enhance scalable enterprise applications while assessing risks and system impacts.
• Work closely with teammates to solve complex technical problems and drive innovation.

Required profile

• Proficiency in Python with a solid understanding of OpenAI capabilities.
• Working knowledge of modern web technologies such as HTML, CSS3, SVG, WCF, and JSON.
• Experience with modern JavaScript libraries (React, Angular, Ember, Backbone).
• Strong coding skills in an object‑oriented language (C#, Java, or C++).
• Strong SQL skills and experience in an agile development environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
