Software Developer Intern – 6‑Month Placement (Mid‑Oct 2026 start)

About the role

Dayforce is looking for a motivated Software Developer Intern to join its Mauritius team for a six‑month placement starting mid‑October 2026. You will work alongside experienced engineers, gaining hands‑on experience in the design, development, and testing of cloud‑based HCM solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the development team to design, code, and test software applications.
• Assist in debugging and troubleshooting issues to ensure smooth functionality.
• Contribute to the enhancement of existing software products.
• Support the implementation of coding standards and best practices.
• Work with cross‑functional teams to understand requirements and deliver quality results.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong academic performance in programming, algorithms, data structures, and related courses.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Passion for learning new technologies and working in a fast‑paced tech environment.
