Chief Steward, Manager BOH

About the role

We are looking for a Chief Steward to lead the back‑of‑house (BOH) steward team at One&Only Le Saint Géran. In this hands‑on position you will coordinate kitchen operations, support the Executive Chef and ensure the highest standards of service, cleanliness and safety for our guests.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and inspire a team of stewards, ensuring punctuality, grooming and readiness for each shift.
• Assign daily tasks, monitor compliance with Executive Chef standards, and oversee opening and closing procedures.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness, organization and sanitation, including waste removal and chemical handling.
• Manage equipment set‑up for events, ensure proper cleaning, maintenance and storage after use.
• Control storage rooms and walk‑in fridges, keeping them tidy and well‑stocked.
• Handle rostering, fill vacant positions when needed and act as the main point of contact for resource requests.
• Promote cooperation across departments, encourage professional habits and ensure adherence to safety and food‑safety regulations.
• Support the resort’s health‑and‑safety program and environmental policies.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in a hospitality or kitchen environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
