About the role

Join Checkout.com as a Cost of Sales Operations Analyst and help investigate and resolve scheme fee discrepancies across our global payments platform. You will work closely with senior team members to ensure accurate fee reporting and contribute to data‑driven decision making.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in end‑to‑end investigations of predicted scheme fees, delivering tasks accurately and on schedule.
• Prepare data, take notes for working groups, and assist in identifying root causes for fee variances.
• Maintain transparent communication on task progress and project timelines with stakeholders.
• Own sub‑tasks within larger fee investigation projects, demonstrating strong organization and proactivity.
• Create reporting metrics and dashboards to highlight findings.
• Compile data‑backed insights for leadership presentations.
• Provide operational feedback to shape the team’s roadmap and process improvements.
• Track regulatory updates and card scheme changes to assess business impact.
• Develop and maintain simple working instructions and share knowledge with peers.

Required profile

• 0‑2 years of experience in a financial, analytical, or high‑volume transaction environment.
• Strong interest in payments, card scheme pricing, and the global payments landscape.
• Logical thinking and curiosity to understand the “why” behind data.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to 100% accuracy in financial reporting.
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast‑moving, evolving environment.
• Proactive attitude with a willingness to take initiative and continuously improve.
