About the role
The Duty Manager supports the Assistant Front Office Manager and Front Office Manager in leading the front‑office team at Constance Le Chaland. Working on the hotel’s south‑eastern coast, you will ensure seamless guest experiences across the Front Desk, Concierge, Switchboard, Reservations, Business Centre and Transportation services.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee check‑in and check‑out processes, guaranteeing timely and courteous service.
- Handle guest telephone calls and messages in line with hotel standards.
- Respond quickly to guest issues, follow up, and ensure satisfaction.
- Manage room allocation using the reservation system and monitor nightly audit reports.
- Maintain front‑office stationery, stock levels and ensure accurate daily event information.
- Control accounting and legal procedures according to hotel policy.
- Identify training needs, supervise staff, and promote a professional work environment.
- Uphold financial responsibility, adhere to budget guidelines and pursue upselling opportunities.
- Support recycling initiatives and comply with fire, health and safety regulations.
